Play Sculptures

These sculptures are the artist's first carvings in stone, in collaboration with ceramic artist Arnie Zimmerman. The result is a series of limestone play sculptures for children to climb on. Based on forms and patterns found within the village and surrounding landscape, the work became a precursor for the site specific work by the artist in forthcoming years.
