Houston Waters I

Part of a series of water sculptures for a streetscape project at the city center of downtown Houston, two Alabama limestone water vessels with linear, curving water stairs create a focal point at the intersection of Preston and Main Streets. The hand-crafted water vessels provide a rich sense of materials, texture, pattern, and activity that enlivens the streetscape of downtown Houston, while providing an elegant sense of quietly fitting into their context.
