Located in the town famous for being the source of Indiana Limestone, The Nation's Building Stone, this 14' tall by 9' diameter water vessel is completely hand-carved of Indiana Limestone. Water flows from the top of the vessel into a narrow channel integrated into a large serpentine earth form. The channel of water meanders through a grove of river birch trees and culminates in a spiral runnel. Regional Native American cultural influences, archetypal forms, ancient uses of stone and water, and excellence in the tradition of stone craftsmanship form the conceptual seed of this work.
